Image #1    Miraculous Photos

This is a photo of the Sacred Vigil Grounds in Flushing Meadows Park Queens looking out over the pilgrims from the Vatican Pavilion site.  It was taken by a pilgrim from Brooklyn, New York on August 13, 1993 at the Vigil of the Assumption.  Miraculously appearing on the right side by Veronica's chair is a translucent image of St. Michael all aglow in a green tint, which is the symbolic color of this highest Archangel in Heaven.

Note the long, greenish-white gown, the wings on the upper left and right and the form of a spear on the right side.  He appears kneeling in front of Our Lady's Shrine statue by Veronica's blue chair as she was unable to attend the Vigil.  Also note the brilliant radiance from his being that emanates onto all the pilgrims and Veronica's former secretary Ann F.

Veronica explained that St. Michael is present at all the Vigils even when she is absent.  His awesome countenance ensures the protection and peace of the pilgrims in prayer and protects the solemnity of these prayer vigils of reparation from evil spirits who are always seeking to disturb the prayers on the Sacred grounds.  Our Lord Jesus said through Veronica that this greatest warrior of Heaven must be returned to His Church in sight and in prayer.   Heaven exhorts us to pray the St. Michael exorcism daily and the long form when possible.

Image #2 "The flight of the Blue Angels"

This is a miraculous photo of the Shrine Statue taken at the apparition site of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers Shrine at the Vatican Pavilion site in Flushing Meadows Park Queens, NY. It was taken by a pilgrim at the Sunday Holy Hour in June 1995 with a 35mm Nikon N50 camera with a 210 lens at F22 and a 2 sec shutter speed on a tripod.  Note the extra sharpness of the background a slight blur of the berets from some head movement. It was as if the camera captured something in flight in front of Our Lady. It was the only miraculous image on one frame in the middle of the roll of negatives.

The following note given by Veronica may explain this miraculous photo: "Veronica saw the flight of the Blue Angels that surely evidenced the power of the Father to send the angels in numerous forms The Blue Angels were gliding within a strong ray of light that appeared to guide them back and forth across the sky. Their wingspan is difficult to describe, for it was like watching a filmy veil of clothing, wispy and gliding back and forth in an amusing, playful manner."   Nov 1, 1970

Image #3 Our Lady's Blue lights

This is a miraculous photograph of the original Our Lady of the Roses Shrine Statue at the Vatican Pavilion Site in Flushing Meadows Park, NY. The photo was taken by a pilgrim using a 35mm automatic Nikon camera at 10:15am a few minutes before the Sunday Holy Hour on June 19, 1994 the day after the 24th Anniversary Vigil.  Veronica was very excited about the photo and called the Shrine workshop to explain it to the lady that took it.   Veronica said, "it is a very beautiful photo and that the blue lights mean Our Lady is there with Her Shrine statue. Our Lady is there where Her statue is at the Holy Hours before the prayers." Veronica also said the blue lights were like Our Ladys "call lights" which Veronica saw many times as Our Lady approached to announce Her appearance when a message was to be given at the Vigil.

At the Vigil of July 25, 1985, Veronica began saying, "All about the trees  its beautiful  there are blue lights, they're the calling lights for Our Lady."

Heaven gives graces in abundance and asks us to visit Them on the Sacred Grounds to pray. On June 18, 1986, Jesus said, "I am not leaving the grounds, My child. My Mother and I will stay here as long as one soul remains upon it, or comes here."

 Image #4

This is a photograph of Veronica Luekens devoted husband Arthur W. Lueken, Sr. at the 26th Anniversary Vigil, June 18, 1996. Mr. Lueken is sitting in the Inner Circle at the Vatican Pavilion site in front of Our Ladys Shrine Statue. Seated on his left is Veronicas former Secretary Ann F. Mr. Lueken, still mourning the death of his beloved wife Veronica (8-3-95) is wearing black. He brought Veronicas Shrine Vigil Crucifix on behalf of Veronica as he always attended the Vigils sitting by her praying the rosary with the pilgrims. Our Lady referred to Arthur in a message to Veronica as your "good spouse"  Vigil of Sept 28,1974.

Heaven requested Veronica to bless the ill and infirm at the Vigils with her crucifix saying as Our Lady directed her, "I bless you with the shield of the Immaculate Conception . In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. May you be protected with the shield of the Immaculate Conception." (Our Lady, March 25, 1973.)

Our Lady kissed Veronicas crucifix many times during the Vigils and graced it with the power of cure and conversion. "Extend, My child, the crucifix that you recovered in the Church of St. Roberts. Many graces have been given for the return to the Sacraments of Our wandering sheep. Bless them, My child, on every occasion with this crucifix. A holy priest once held it and he will be returned to the flock when he receives the courage of his convictions to stand forward as a true shepherd." (Our Lady, Nov 1, 1975)

Our Lady said on Aug 21, 1971: "My Immaculate Heart will be your shield in the dark days ahead."

[Veronicas Vigil crucifix is now safeguarded in the Shrine Archives of Our Lady of the Roses, P.O. Box 52, Bayside, NY 11361] Write to the Shrine for a free rose petal touched to Veronicas crucifix.

Image #5 Our Lady in the Sky

One of the most outstanding miraculous photographs ever - taken a few hours before the Vigil on Nov 25, 1978. The late Tom Bachor of Little Neck, NY was taking a picture of John M. (foreground), approximately 70 yards from the site of the Vatican Pavilion in Flushing Meadows Park Queens NY (situated at the bottom of Our Lady's Mantle). Miraculously, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God appears on the photo dominating the sky above Her chosen Sacred Grounds. The fingers of Our Lord (top left) are pointing toward Our Lady, as if to say, 'behold your Mother!' Come and pray the Rosary at the Shrine Sacred Grounds for the Vigils on the Eve of the Feast Days and Sunday morning Holy Hours as Our Lady requested. This incredible photograph clearly shows Our Lady's true presence on Her Shrine Grounds. Also note the light bulb to the left of Her neck. Our Lady is the light of the world. Our Lady said, "My Rosary will be the light of the world." July 1, 1970. Our Heavenly Mother invites all Her children on earth to come pray the Rosary at the Shrine - an 'oasis of graces', for abundant graces of cures and conversions and blessings. "A 'center of atonement' - 'Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers Shrine." Oct 6, 1974.

Image #6 The miraculous Polaroid photo

This is a miraculous Polaroid photo taken at a Rosary Prayer Vigil the night of September 11, 2001 (approx. 9:30 p.m.) at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers on the eve of the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary.  The photo was taken of the Shrine statue of the Blessed Mother with an SX-70 instant Polaroid camera by a Manhattan pilgrim at the site of the Vatican Pavilion of the old World’s Fair grounds in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, NY.  A small group attended the Vigil despite the tremendous fear and uncertainty or closures of the Park, nearby highways, and airports.  It was a very still and quiet night in NYC except for military jets patrolling high above the city in the dark, clear sky.   It was quite frightening to be at the Vigil outdoors and alone on this terrible day unsure of further attacks, but being on the Sacred Grounds with Our Lady gave us all courage.   We just felt compelled to conduct the Vigil of prayer, penance and atonement for Heaven and all in America especially in New York.

Incredibly what came out in this photo appears to be the Twin Towers all in gold which had been destroyed that that day by terrorist attacks. We offered our prayers and lit candles for all the innocent victim souls who were missing in these horrific tragedies at the World Trade Center in NYC, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania. We prayed for their families and loved ones burdened with grief that they would be consoled.  And we prayed for our country and for peace.  A luminous white dove was also seen above the Shrine during the Rosary Vigil.

When the photo was taken, another pilgrim looked at and suddenly looked at with one turn - one side rotated to the left.  The bottom of the photo is actually on the right side above and when you look at it from that angle you can see the curved bench and wall of the Vatican Pavilion where candles were lit during the Vigil.   A professional photographer looked at the photo and stated it was miraculous as it was also impossible to get a straight line of the left tower from the round pavilion.

Image #10 The Photo of St. Francis

An incredible Kodak photo taken at the Vigil of Feb. 1st 1979 by Ray W. of Hartford, CT.  St. Francis miraculously appears above the Shrine Vigil Statue of Our Lady.  There was not even a statue of St. Francis on the Shrine Grounds that evening.   St. Francis began the Franciscan Order in Italy.
